Cleveland-based Industrial Commercial Properties has purchased a 182-acre property in Oakland County, Michigan, from Boston-based investor Trident Barrow.

ICP owner Chris Semarjian told The Oakland Press that the former Ford Motor Co. assembly plant site can support a facility between 100,000 and 2 million square feet.

The company is reportedly in talks with a few companies and developers that have interest in building on the property, including a large manufacturer, a large distributor and a significant research and technology development facility.

Semarjian told the paper that development will begin after the former assembly plant’s foundation and pad is removed.
