Bob Serpentini, in conjunction with partner Ken Ganley, has acquired three Pat O’Brien Chevrolet dealerships in Medina, Westlake and Willoughby. The deal, effective immediately, creates the largest Chevrolet dealership group in Ohio and one of the largest in the country.

Serpentini Auto Group has Chevrolet dealerships throughout Northeast Ohio, including locations in Strongsville, Orrville and Tallmadge. The addition of the Medina, Westlake and Willoughby dealerships expands the Serpentini portfolio to six Chevrolet locations across the state. Pat O’Brien Chevrolet will retain ownership of its Vermillion dealership.

“Our team at Serpentini is known for delivering a first-class sales and customer service experience,” Bob Serpentini said in a statement. “It is our goal to exceed our customers’ expectations, and we are excited to be able to share this with more customers in even more accessible locations throughout Northeast Ohio. We are appreciative of the team at Pat O’Brien Chevrolet for their partnership during this transition, and we look forward to serving their loyal customers who we now call our own.”

In addition to expanded hours for the three acquired locations, the deal is expected to create many new jobs in the sales and service departments across all Serpentini Chevrolet dealerships to keep up with customer demand. Customers can also expect to see expanded inventory throughout the acquired locations, which will be branded as Serpentini Chevrolet, a news release states.

Serpentini added: “We are not only investing in Northeast Ohio, but also in our future and our employees. This opportunity has afforded my team the ability to continue to grow and develop, and we look forward to adding more dedicated professionals to our company.”

Serpentini said one of the things he looks forward to most now that the deal is complete is the opportunity for his team to get involved in and give back to the surrounding communities. Serpentini Chevrolet regularly donates cars and stadium sponsorships to local school districts and participates in other community-supported programs, which will be rolled out at the additional dealership locations as well.

Updates to the website as well as signage inside and outside of the acquired Serpentini Chevrolet buildings are expected to begin immediately.
