Giftware seller and distributor Enesco LLC has completed its acquisition of Things Remembered Inc., preserving 176 stores and 1,400 jobs while expanding the company's offerings. Through its Enesco affiliation, the omnichannel retailer will be able to offer a broader range of personalized gifts and merchandise.
- Things Remembered sold most of its business to Enesco in February, after filing voluntary petitions under Chapter 11 and seeking bankruptcy court approval for a severance and outplacement program for employees.
- Things Remembered President and CEO Nelson Tejada in a statement, “This transaction with Enesco will allow us to enhance our product offerings and customer experience. We are confident that we now have the right operational and financial structure in place to drive sustainable growth in the months and years to come.”
